Golden Goddess Makeup Look

DSC04419

Hello everyone, hope you’re all well! Last week, I posted a review of ESQIDO’s Unforgettable False Lashes, and a few of you commented that you liked my makeup and asked what products I was wearing. Well thank you very much, aren’t you sweet?! I thought today I’d share with you the full makeup look, just in case anymore of you were wondering!

This is a great look for any time of year – I’m especially loving it during these summer months – and I don’t think anyone can go wrong with a gold shimmery eye and a nude lip. It’s all about gorgeous, glowing skin and a cheeky sparkle which catches the light!

Primer: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

Base: Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation (a great choice for those who like their makeup to fall somewhere in between matte and dewy)

Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Concealer (to conceal dark circles, blemishes, and to highlight)

Contour: Sleek Contour Kit (check out my Contour/Highlight Routine here)

Setting Powder: Guerlain Meteorites Perles (these give such a subtle illuminating glow to skin)

Bronzer: Clarins Aquatic Treasures Bronzing Compact (to warmify the high planes of my face)

Blush: Sleek Rose Gold Blush (a dupe of NARS Orgasm!)

Highlighter: Sleek Highlighter (all from the same kit)

More Hightlighter: 17 Instant Glow Bronze Shimmer Brick (just a light sweep down my cheekbones)

The eyes is where the fun really begins! I used my Stila In the Light palette, which is absolutely stunning. It has a great selection of colours, from mattes to glitter, neutrals to smoky, and warm and cool tones. This makes it perfect for anyone wanting an eye shadow palette which is very versatile and which you can use to create multiple looks!

Primer: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Base: Bubbly… This is my most used shade in the palette. It’s a gorgeous champagne, shimmery gold colour and I sweep it all over my eyelid.

Crease and Outer Corner: Sandstone … This matte brown is perfect for defining your crease. Apply it with a shading brush at the outer corner and blend it in with your gold shadow.

Bottom Lash Line: Gilded Gold... To give a bit of extra smokiness to this look, use a smudging brush to apply a sparkly brown along your bottom lash line, bringing it up to join the matte brown at the outer corner.

Sparkle: Kitten… This is my second most used shade. This shimmery silver is perfect for pressing into the inner corners of eyes.

Eyeliner: L’Oreal Super Liner (this is great for a good cat-eye!)

Mascara: Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

As the eyes in this look are quite full on, you want something simple for your lips! I used MAC Blankety, which is a lovely beige nude, and then went over it with some clear lip gloss, just for a bit of shine!

Finally, if you fancy a bit more va va voom, apply some false lashes. Here I’m wearing ESQIDO Unforgettable Lashes, which are handmade mink. Very posh.
