Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl

Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl

Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl

If you read Saturday’s Autumn Nail Edit post, you’ll have seen I’ve taken on a new rule to stop myself from overspending on makeup. The rule? I can only buy 3 new shades a season, and they have to be season appropriate… *Pat self on back*. Since then, I’ve been thinking I should apply this to all areas of my shopping life. Dresses, eye shadows, hats, lipsticks… Only 3 per season! What do you guys think? Can I do it??

The most difficult to avoid buying will definitely be lipsticks. I just love them! I feel like there’s some sort of radar pulling me in… I’m going to try my absolute best though, and the first I’ve chosen for Autumn is one I’ve wanted for ages… Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Bond Girl

Bond Girl is a gorgeous brown toned berry shade which goes perfectly when paired with Charlotte Tilbury’s signature Dolce Vita Luxury Eyeshadow Palette. I love that it’s not too dark, which means it’s still very wearable for daytime but layer it up and it will pack enough punch for evening.

These Matte Revolution Lipsticks are also pretty genius because the formula is really creamy and hydrating. Usually, a matte lipstick can be quite drying and difficult to apply, but this just glides on like a dream. It’s easily as creamy as my other favourite, the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Bitch Perfect.

I’m very very happy with this new Autumn makeup purchase. It’s another winner from the genius CT!

Have any of you guys tried Bond Girl or any other Charlotte Tilbury products? What did you think? And do you have any to recommend? Finally, what are your favourite lippy shades for Autumn? Let me know in the comments below!

Check back in on Friday for another beauty post. In the meantime, feel free to follow on Bloglovin’, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest 🙂

Thanks for reading! Joanna xxxxx

  1. Love the color 🙂 The entire CT matte revolution range is just so good…it presents a problem.
Really like your three rule though, might have to apply that to certain things (like Essie polish). xx

  2. Your rule is good! 12 lipsticks a year sounds like a lot for me! 😛
I have Bitch Perfect but I find it a bit drying… and also not a fan of the shimmer in that one. Does Bond Girl have shimmer? I prefer cream lipsticks.

    1. I think it may have to refer to all lip products! Maybe 2 lipsticks and 1 balm/gloss a season and only 1 of the 3 can be high end. That seems ok! I do find Bond Girl to be more creamy and hydrating than Bitch Petfect and its matte so doesn’t have any glitter. Might be more up your street? Xxx

  3. Having restrictions and rules is a great habit in all ways and in this way, you could able to keep a control on yourself. While coming back to the lipstick, it is such a gorgeous matte colour and thumps up to the lip shade as it brought brilliant results just like its name. Great post.

  4. I love CT Amazing Grace & Lost Cherry, both matte revolution lippies. I can’t stop buying lipsticks either and I trying to control myself…it’s sooooo hard!
