Life’s a Peach

With spring finally poking its head round the corner, it’s time to crack out my favourite lip/cheek/eyeshadow/everything shade for my second favourite season (autumn’s always a winner in my eyes). There’s something about a peachy glow which just instantly looks so healthy and fresh. It’s more flattering than pink and less intense than red; perfect for that ‘I’ve been strolling outside amongst the daffodils’ kind of vibe. Let me share with you my 2 peachy makeup favouritesΒ which are sure to be finding their place in my essentials collection….

Sleek Blush in Life’s a Peach: In my opinion, Sleek offers some of the best drugstore blushes on the market. They remind me of NARS in the sleek black packaging and have an amazing finely-milled formula. This is one of my favourite shades from the collection; the ideal colour between orange and pink. I love wearing this flushed across my cheekbones in place of a bronzer. It looks beautifully natural and brings some life to my complexion.

Topshop Lipstick in Ooh La La: Just like the Sleek blushes, I think Toyshop lipsticks are some of the best drugstore versions around. They kind of remind me of MAC lipsticks and Rio Rio was my jam all through university. This is a gorgeous coral pink and pairs perfectly with the blush. This is my go-to lip shade for spring/summer…

What’s your favourite spring shade? And do you have any peach recommendations for me?
