My Holy Grail Cleanser

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset

When it comes to makeup, I’m definitely a quick fling kind of girl. I like to try out lots of different brands and products, always on the search for the next best thing. Skincare, on the other hand, is more of a long term commitment. Once I’ve found something that works for me and doesn’t cause any sort of negative reaction, I don’t tend to stray.

For years, I’ve been pretty solid with the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Cleanser, but over the last 12 months it’s been cast aside. My new love? Enter the OSKIA Renaissance Cleansing Gel.

This has without a doubt become my holy grail cleanser. A luxurious gel which transforms into a beautiful oil as you smooth it into skin, it’s the perfect formula for really clearing out those pores while at the same time providing a boost of hydration. The smell is what really made me fall for this product – it’s like you’ve immediately entered a spa filled with incredible essential oils!

I tend to use this in the morning when I first wake up, then as my second cleanse in the evening after removing my makeup with some micellar water or cleansing balm. It’s the perfect routine and I can’t see myself reaching for anything else just now!

The only negatives I have with this product?? Firstly, it’s very difficult to get hold of! They only seem to sell OSKIA skincare in Space NK which can’t be found in many cities, or you can buy it off CultBeauty which is a bit of a pain as I then have to go pick it up from the post office depot. Secondly, while I think the packaging looks and feels amazing and super high quality, it’s kind of impractical in that you can’t see how much is left. I always end up unexpectedly running out before I have time to buy more.

The price is a another slight negative as this is an expensive product. However if there’s one thing I’m prepared to splurge on it’s my skin – so I’ll forgive it! The lovely effect is well worth it in my opinion.

So what’s your holy grail cleanser? Have you ever tried the OSKIA Renaissance Cleansing Gel yourself?

Thanks for reading and check back in on Sunday for a new post 🙂

  1. Sounds intriguing – a gel that turns into oil? I’ve been enjoying the Clinique cleansing balm which is a solid that turns into oil. I might have to seek Oskia out! I love oil cleansers – I find they remove everything but doesn’t strip the skin. Thanks for putting this product on my radar!

  2. Oooh this is interesting! I’ve been using the Liz Earle cleanse & polish for years and I’ve been looking to switch things up ready for Winter. Thank you for sharing, I’ll definitely check it out! x
