Ahhh concealers… The magical makeup which instantly turns you from a bit blah to bright and cheery. It hides my dark circles, covers any blemishes, and generally just makes me look and feel a whole lot better!
I’ve tried a whole bunch over the years, but of course, there are a few that really stand out and keep coming back to. I’ve rounded up four of my favourites and would love to know if you guys are fans too!
The Highlighting Concealer: I think out of all the affordable drugstore brands out there, Maybelline have really got the concealers down. I love their Fit Me concealer for great coverage, and their Dream-Lumi Touch is a really lovely glowy formula for under eyes. But the one I just can’t be without? It’s the Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer. I’m absolutely in love with the hydrating forumla of this – it’s perfect for highlighting the high points of your face, the Kim KW way.
The Full Coverage Concealer: There’s a reason why the NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer remains the most popular and talked about in the blogosphere. It has the most amazing full coverage formula – seriously, this will cover anything. At the same time though, it doesn’t look cakey or crease easily. This has become a bit of a holy grail for me recently!
The All Rounder: If you love the coverage of the NARS concealer, but find it’s just a little too heavy for your skin type, I would point you in the direction of the Urban Decay Naked Concealer. It also has the best colour range out of all of them which I love!
The Hydrating Concealer: I picked up the Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer on a whim when I needed an extra product to make up the 3 for 2 offer! At first, I found the formula a little too liquidy and not heavy-duty enough, however I think this is just because I’m used to the full coverage types. After a couple of wears, I actually really liked this for an everyday makeup look (which you can see here!). It’s super hydrating and just feels really nice and pleasant on the skin. If you’re someone who suffers with quite dry skin, I’d really recommend this!
I’d love to hear about your favourite concealers. Are there any you would recommend? And have you tried any of the ones I’ve mentioned? What did you think?
Check back in on Sunday for a new post and don’t forget to follow 🙂
